10/4-10/26 Energy: Release to Rebuild

Hey y’all it’s been a minute. I hope y’all are hanging in there. I meant to post a tarot reading to start off the Libra season, but during the exporting phase, it got lost in the ether and with it went my hopes and dreams. Seriously! It took sooooooooooo freaking long to edit it because my subliminal Virgo energy wanted it to be perfect for y’all 🥺. But… Like any other big girl, I got over it, put my big girl pants back on and got to work. Today is day 5 of reading tarot every single day and I’m feeling better now.

I’ve decided to do at the very least a weekly reading for y’all, so I can make up for that technological blunder a few weeks ago and keep me active online. I have recorded this reading and you can find it on my instagram (@peace.abide) if you want to watch it there.  You’ll get a more “first impressions” reading from the video, while this post will dig a little deeper into the cards. So without further adieu, heeere we go 🙂

If you don’t know already, I do a 4 card spread that tells me the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a reading. It’s the easiest and helps break down the different aspects of life that may not get the acknowledgment it needs, because other areas may be too pervasive or take precedence. Here are the cards I pulled:

Three of Swords (Reversed). Nine of Swords (Reversed), Queen of Pentacles (Reversed), The Moon (Reversed)

Back of Deck (BOD) Energy: Eight of Swords

In our Physical spot we have: Three of Swords in Reverse. Reverse cards are ones that come in upside down and the meanings reflect something similar in essence. Three of Swords in reverse  can represent things such as recovery, release, and forgiveness. The sword suit represents the mind, thoughts, and forms of communication. The card is also ruled by Libra which represents fairness, balance, and partnerships. This card appears when the clouds begin to part and you can see the sun hiding behind the clouds. A glimmer of hope that everything will be okay. Someone may have said or done something to you that at the bare minimum hurt your feelings. They may have lied to you, stabbed you in the back, or deceived you in some sort of way and you found out and it hurts. A lot. But this card comes to remind you that the knives put into your heart are falling away and that life does continue on.

  • The card is represented by the number 3 which correlates with communities, growth, and celebrations. This would be a good time to connect with friends and those that you love, so they can love on you and be there for you during this time. This would be very helpful especially if a partnership has ended. The scales will balance themselves out. Focus on yourself at this time and look to the future. The Universe is good at giving back what was dealt.

In our Emotions spot we have: Nine of Swords in Reverse. This card can represent patience, gaining control, and unselfishness. This card appeared as a reminder to y’all to stop worrying because it does nothing, but cause more problems and ulcers.  This is another card associated with air signs, but this time it’s Gemini, the social butterfly. Jack of all trades, but master of none. It’s time to make a decision emotionally. Are you going to continue down this path or start a new one? Will you allow your emotions to overwhelm you?  Or will you use them for the true purpose, as a source of strength to continue forward. Any loss will come with its share of emotions and they HAVE to be dealt with or else they will consume you, one way or another.

  • This card is associated with 9, which can represent completion, strength, optimism, and deeper meaning. As you experience your emotions, find the deeper meaning behind them, so that you can have ACTUAL control over them. You cannot control what you don’t understand. So sit with your emotions, what ever they may be. Sadness. Anger. Guilt. Relief. Regret. Confusion. Sit with them and follow them back to their origin, because I can bet my bottom dollar that the situation that brought on these emotions is not the REAL cause of them. The real cause lies deeper, somewhere that hasn’t seen the light of day in quite a while. So stop worrying about whatever is in that head of yours. Get out of your head and heart and back into your life.

In our Mental spot we have: Queen of Pentacles in Reverse. This card can represent indecision, uncertainty, and jealousy. She is also represented by the number four which correlates with stability, foundations, and form. This card has appeared because a foundation has cracked or crumbled. The once confident, decisive, determined person you were before has been replaced with a flighty, short-tempered, ungrounded version of yourself. That loss you experienced and the disarray it left your emotions in, have allowed doubt to seep into your mind and convince you that you are unworthy, selfish, foolish, unpredictable, or incorrigible. You must remember that you are not the things that you experience.

  • You are ever changing and evolving into a newer version of yourself, every minute of every day. You’ve accomplished so much to get you to this point in your life. I know good and well, you’re not going to let something or someone tear you down and reduce you to nothing when you know (and I know too) deep down you are everything you could ever dream to be. So pick your head up and puff that chest out. Go for a run, do some yoga, lift some weights, read a book, have some tea. Do something that will bring you back to the present moment, so you can remember and recognize that you are here for a reason. Every experience we live has a lesson in it. Either find the lesson or make peace with the result. Either way, you’ve got to move forward and step back into your power. Rebuild and reconnect.

In our Spiritual spot we have: The Moon. This card can represent an unveiling of truth, recognition of deception, and clarity. This card appears to remind you that you are no longer under the control of someone else. You have learned the truth about your situation and it comes with clarity about what needs to be done going forward. Shoot, even if you don’t know how to go forward, at the very least, now you know and that is much better than being stuck in the dark. Mistakes were made, possibly on both sides, and the waves of those consequences have now collapsed.

  • Use this clarity for the goodness of yourself and others. This card is ruled by Pisces, a whimsical sign that will “go with the flow. This is your sign to go with the flow of the Universe/God/Spirit. You have been provided the information you needed to make a clear decision on your path, so take it and run with it. Forgive where you need to and move on.

Our BOD energy is: Eight of Swords. This care can represent fear, doubt, uncontrolled thoughts, and fruitless overthinking. You may be feeling trapped in your situation - whether in a relationship, job, or mindset - and you cannot escape it. Well, my friend, I am here to tell you that you can. The only person that can hold you back is yourself. (Unless you are physically being held back by someone, then I would recommend enlisting some outside help to assist you with this next part) Your mindset has a great deal in how you operate as an individual. There is a saying that I like, it goes like this: I think, so I feel, therefore I act. Your thoughts drive you feelings and feelings drive actions. Sometimes, we don’t acknowledge how feelings play a part in the way we act, so another quote I like by a French philosopher, that is equally relevant, goes like this: "Cogito, ergo sum”, which means I think, therefore I am.

  • Do you see where I’m going with this? Shifting your mindset will free you from the cage that you are in. There is a chance that you did not put yourself in said cage, HOWEVER, your current mindset is WHY you are still there even though the door is unlocked and quite possibly open. There is always an opportunity to pluck yourself out of your situation and be placed into a new one. You just have to step into your truth, that you are in control of your life and that you have the power to change it however you want to. Knowing that truth will help you make decisions that benefit yourself and fuel your purpose. Take the step forward and recognize that you were never being held back; you just didn’t believe in yourself.

That was a rollercoaster y’all. I legit looked at these cards and said “What in the world do y’all got going on here??” I also pulled some affirmations because I was lowkey overwhelmed with the cards. I’ll list them below with a little affirmation of my own to go along with it. If you want to hear what each card said, go check out my video on my instagram page 😉.

No Judgement: I free myself from the burden judgment creates.

Positive Thinking: I have a positive relationship with my emotions.

Beauty: I am beautiful inside and out.

Connection: I am connected to the world around me.

BOD: Engagement: I am an active participant in life.

That’s all I got for y’all today. If this reading resonated with you let me kn0w. If it didn’t also let me know, I’d love to do a personal reading for you, so you can get the answers you’re looking for. With that said, I’ll catch y’all on the flip side. Love y’all to pieces!

Peace Abide,

Amani 💕
