I've decided to leave my job… but my Mars in Libra. Part 2
Welcome back for Part 2 y’all. Let’s jump right in.
So this Yes/No spread is one of the first spreads I learned when I got my deck and a few interpretation books. There is always at least one stack of 13 cards in this spread and I can gather more information about the situation by diving deeper into those additional 12 cards, so that’s what we’re gonna do today rubs hands together 😏.
So the stack that had 13 cards ended up being The World. Like I mentioned before, the World represents the completion of a cycle. All the lessons meant to be learned have been completed and it’s time to start the cycle over again, but this time you’ll be prepared with your new-found knowledge. These cards tell a story, so buckle up my friends as I take you through one of the most daunting decisions I’ve made so far in my life.
The Current Situation
The first row starts off with the 5 of Cups, coming in strong. The thought of leaving my job has me grieving the end of the relationships I’ve built with my patients, and the uncertainty of their care as someone else comes in to take over my caseload.
The Knight of Swords barges in, literally, to tell me that the world will not wait for me and it’s time to go. Don’t think, just do. He reminds me that I have everything I need to be successful, so any doubts about my ability to perform should be thrown to the wayside as I pursue a new avenue of my career.
The Star shines brightly reminding me to renew my hope as opportunities I’ve never considered before will become available to me once I take that leap of faith.
The Moon appears as a reminder to not let my emotions overwhelm me and convince myself that staying where I am is a better option for me. The 5 of Wands reminds me that the conflicts that I’ve had outwardly and inward have a purpose and as long as I continue have CONSTRUCTIVE conflict in my life, I’ll continue to grow into the person that I want to be.
The Path Ahead
In the second row, the 6 of Wands brings us good news and tidings of a new venture, opportunity, job. This card actually prompted me to write this post to spread the news of how betting on yourself can bring you happiness every time.
Justice arrives to remind me that maintaining balance is the only way this will work. If I want to use my free time to work on my business then, I’ve got to create a work schedule and stick to it. If I want to take more time off in between contracts, then I have to sacrifice having certain benefits with my company. In order to sustain my marriage while I’m traveling, I need to play video games with my husband and discuss with him how/when we can visit each other while I’m away. There is a give in take with all options. Yes, on one hand, I get to make more money and have “unlimited” time off, but on the other hand, I’ll be away from the family I created for months on end. Open communication and fairness will be crucial when taking this path.
The 2 of Wands symbolizes the road ahead and that planning is necessary to embark on the new journey. I have created a foundation to stand on, now it’s time to plan my next venture and see what the world has in store for me.
The Page of Swords reveals itself as a warning… no, more of a heads up for what’s to come. There needs to be a certain level of groundedness in my thoughts which ultimately turn into my actions. This card reminds me of my tattoo. I have the symbol Om surrounded by the words, I think therefore I am. The time to come will be one where I am communicating A LOT more than I am used to right now, so I need to choose my words wisely, speak with ease, and be curious as I re-enter the world of having coworkers and even the internet, tbh.
The Devil shows up as a reminder that Saturn is still on my ass, smh. The Devil is ruled by Capricorn, which is also ruled by Saturn. Y’all already know the jist of that, so I won’t go to heavy into it, but this card in particular serves as a reminder that if I stay the path, following the lead of Justice, 2 of Wands, and Page of Swords then I will not succumb to the temptations that the powers that be lay in front of me. Believing in myself is my first line of defense when traversing unknown territory.
The Outcome
The Sun brightens the horizon and beams on my face, bringing warmth and imbuing me with vitality. Reminding me that I will be successful if I keep on the path. My family has always told me that I am the one that ”stayed the path.” Despite the pressure and the uncertainties that come with pursuing a dream, I stayed the path. That’s the work of a Sagittarius Sun and a Taurus Moon coming together to fuel a dream that is felt in my soul.
The horns of Judgement bellow through the air, renewing and rejuvenating all that can hear it. An awakening to a new reality by answering this call to action. Pursuing this path will change the course of my life and those who come to know me personally or through services that I provide, whether it’s a tarot or astrological reading, a yoga class, or physical therapy, for the better.
Last but not least,we return to The World herself, now recognizing the journey I have been on and acknowledging my success as she watches over the completion of this chapter of my life and I embark on the next.
There’s definitely more I could say about this spread, especially since I didn’t go in depth about the astrological correlations of the cards and how that directly impacts my own chart, but there’s only so much I can say in a post like this without turning it into a lecture. I’ll definitely keep sharing readings I have done and showing up for myself and you all. Thanks for listening to my story. Love you all to pieces. See you next time ☺️.
Peace Abide,
Amani 💕
